Where'd You Go?

It seems one thing has been true all along,
you don't really know what you've got till its gone.

These are the words of the American Band Fort Minor from their soul stirring and emotional song 'Where'd you go'. This song talks about the persons who are left behind in long distance relationships and is about the consequence of putting one's career before one's family. The music is soulful and the lyrics equally meaningful and sad. Click here for the awesome lyrics of this song.

In a world full of rush-hour traffic, deadlines, busy schedules, hectic lifestyles and routines, we have slowly forgotten the essence and importance of certain people in our lives; the people who have shaped us, our perspectives and made us what we are today.

So, this post is to remind you of those very persons. Stop whatever you are doing right now and while listening to this song, ask yourself the following question:

Who are you missing today, right now???
(whether the person is temporarily or permanently absent from your life.)

Life is too short to let go of these people, atleast the ones who are alive. Get in touch with them, show them that you care, give them the respect they deserve, receive blessings from them and shower them with your love because life is lived only once with no retakes.

A loved one who's very dear,
An eye with a drop of a tear,
An old friend forgotten since long,
A lover who lives in the lines of a song,
A family full of happiness and joy,
A teacher who made a man out of a boy,

Remember, remember,
from January through December,
the people in our lives.
